April 19th at Citizens Bank on Main St in Las Cruces:


We have a community Shred Day at Citizens Bank on April 19th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Please come and join us at 505 S Main St in Las Cruces, NM.  ADS will have a mobile shred unit set up in the parking lot in front of the bank.  We hope to see you there!


 April 22nd at the Town of Silver City:


Looking for something to do on Earth Day? Might we suggest joining ADS for a community shred day in the Town of Silver City, NM on April 22nd?  ADS will have a mobile shred unit set up from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at 12th and Pope St.  This is a great time to do a little Spring cleaning and get your confidential or sensitive information destroyed.  We hope to see you there! 


April 26th at Citizens Bank in Truth or Consequences:

It’s time for a little SPRING RECORDS CLEANING!  Can you believe it?  The days are getting longer, the temps are getting warmer, and Summer is just around the corner.  Where did the time go?   Spring is a great time to think about The 5 W’s – Who, What, When, Where, and Why with regard to records cleaning.

Who should go through the records? Anyone who puts information on paper.  It’s always a good idea to go through your records at least once a year and especially at the end of a fiscal year or calendar year.  If you do not have a secure destruction container in your office, it would be a great idea to get one so that you can get rid of sensitive information on an ongoing basis.  ADS has shred bins of all sizes to suit your individual needs!


What records should you be cleaning out?  This will vary for different industries based on the types of records you have – medical records, tax records, purchase orders, corporate records, personnel/HR files, accounts receivable/payable, contracts, etc.


When can the records be destroyed?  Each state has its own requirements for records retention.  ADS can design a records retention program to fit your needs that is compliant with state laws and regulations.
